The Denon room correction was very slow to respond to commands when setting up and then the end result sounded worse than the Sony set up manually. 4K@60Hz is enough for me. I have 8K capable HDMI w/ ethernet cables rated for 48Gbps. When I do direct connect from the Apple TV to the TV, I can get Dolby Vision at 4K 60hz. I was oringinally leaning towards the STRDN1080 but then seen the 790. I only need the AV for Movies/Sky only and not for music. From specs they both seem identical and the 1080 is overkill for my needs. A.F.D is the correct sound field for Atmos content. Non Atmos content will be up mixed using Dolby Surround if A.F.D is selected.
